Eighteen months ago I received an Activeion. Since then, I've used it religiously, and people have been shocked at how I can spray "just water" and end up cleaning surfaces like windows without a streak. No joke, I brought my Activeion with me to school so I could spruce up my van right before driving a bunch of kids on a field trip. I was mocked for the last-minute hustle, but the mom who busted me was fascinated with my Activeion.
My mom in particular was really skeptical, but she came around too, when she saw what a good job it did. In fact, she started using it. And then she lost its charger.
Sure, the charger is probably somewhere in the house, but I can't find it (and neither can my mother.) Luckily, the Activeion holds quite a charge, so it hasn't stopped working even though it has been quite a long while since I last charged it. Nonetheless, I didn't want to face life without a charged Activeion cleaning device, so went to the website in the hopes of ordering a replacement charger.
Well, I couldn't find just the charger. And so I emailed Customer Service to find out where I might be able to purchase one.
I've been shocked with the negative customer service I've experienced recently, both towards me and towards friends, so believe me that I was even more shocked at how amazingly positive the customer service is at Activeion.
I'll say it again - the customer service at Activeion was fabulous! They actually agreed to send me a replacement charger at no cost because they hadn't yet set up the website to handle accessories orders. Wow!
Now promises are one thing, but did they deliver?
Indeed, they did! This afternoon I was greeted with a tiny box from Activeion and inside was my replacement charger. My device is currently happily eating up charge right now. I am so thrilled.
Now don't get me wrong - companies don't have to give me free things for me to declare their customer service excellent. I would have been super-happy even if the wonderful gal had directed me to a place where I might be able to purchase the chargers on my own, or had agreed to send me one for a fee even though it wasn't on their site. Solving my problem was fabulous - making the solution free was a very fantastic delicious icing on the cake.
Thank you Activeion for the free charger. I am very impressed with your quick response to my question, and even more grateful that you sent me the charger for free!
