The familiar orange-pink swirled envelope came in the mail last week. This time, enclosed within was a DVD offering a free trial of NoodleNet, a safe way for kids to browse the internet. Sometimes it will be a fabric softener sample, or a DVD of a new television show, such as when "Meerkat Manor" came out.
I still have fond memories of the show "Cover Shot," for which I voted on a "final shot" as one of the original VocalPoint members. I was in "the Club" so early in the game that I actually voted on the design of the envelopes in which VocalPoint sends their product samples, coupons, and announcements!
Why did I become a member?
Well, I wanted to try out things before they become available to the general public. I wanted to learn about new products. I wanted to be the gal with "the free stuff" that I could pass out to friends. (After all, the mom in my playgroup who routinely handed out Gymboree coupons was super popular!)
VocalPoint doesn't send out junky stuff. The product brochures are well-made, as I would hope the products they are advertising would be as well.
You have nothing to lose by signing up. They don't bombard you with information: rather, each pink and orange envelope is a treat. And if it happens to be a product you aren't interested in, you can pass on the coupons, DVDs, stickers, or refrigerator magnets on to someone else who might be interested.
If you sign up now, I might win a Roomba! You know I need one.
XOXO,
Kari
