
Yeah, the boys play a lot of video games, but doing so during summer break is so much more freeing. After all, I don't have to tell them to go do their homework instead, like I will starting next week. (Yes, that is right: next week. Oh, how quickly it comes.)
(For those folks who see these virtual slices of "reality" and exclaim "get them to play outside!" or "have them read books!" - believe me, we do those activities in abundance, too. In fact, letting them play video games whenever they want traditionally leads them to get bored and want to pursue the screenless activities anyway.)
