Calm and Chaos

Yeah, it is cliche, but here is the obligatory photo of the cherry blossoms while they exist. They come out to give us some beauty while the fickle weather tempts us with sun, but turns around to give us rain.

Although I took many photos that highlighted the blossoms better; I liked having a bee in there: totally necessary, but also "dangerous."

I'm dreaming of when the pool opens, since we finally got off the wait-list. The initiation and dues have been paid for the swim club, the boys are signed up for camp, and we're all set for a family vacation to celebrate Husband's entry into a new decade. Oh, and my brother is getting married too. I admit I shed a nostalgic tear when I got the "save the date" card. This summer is going to be special, indeed.

But before the summer comes a great deal more.

I'm relieved to be done of the Science Fair, especially as people proved once more that they don't use their brains. Let's just say that a couple parents decided it would be perfectly fine for their daughters to spread a mixture of corn starch and water all over the floor and table, potentially causing someone to fall - and potentially ruining the neighboring student's projects. But that is over!

Ahead are some big projects, both paid and unpaid, for which there will be equal parts stress and reward. Some days I breathe fresh air, and other times I get that tense feeling, worried and overwhelmed. I continue to exercise with the Dailey Method (I'm entering my third month in a few days!) but then I also still grab some candy or a beer at times, so I'm definitely not 100% healthful.

It is all good and bad, calm and chaos.
