Splig really wanted me to take a picture of this: a foam and white-chocolate-chip snow monster. Sure, it is simple, but perhaps it is just simply scary (or not, whatev.)

Splig has never seen snow. And while Husband and I dipped the Cat into some snow in Central Park shortly after he was born, he has no memory of the experience. One of these days we've got to get to the Sierras, but for the time being, the only thing resembling snow in our home are these foam blocks. (And later, cotton, as we decorate for the holidays.)
Then the Cat really wanted me to take a picture of his latest find, a double-bodied goldfish:
A double-bodied Goldfish cracker, that is:

Of course, said Golfish was promptly eaten.
Interestingly, the snow monster's features have not yet been eaten.
And I'm hoping the foam never gets eaten.

Sorry, but snow monster is just adorable, not very scary. Never seen snow? If ya want to meet up in the mountains this winter just say the word :)
