... and I'll cry if I want to!

Actually, the majority of my birthday day was fabulous. But, there are always some snags, and this year was no exception. Sometimes you just have to wonder what were they thinking?

Oh no, I don't mean choices of birthday presents. I'm typically pretty grateful, regardless of how bizarre some gifts turn out to me. After all, I don't expect to be showered with tons of packages.

Nope, I mean just some of that "everyday crud" that isn't pleasant to hear. Somehow I consider birthdays sort of "sacred" such that there are certain things that should just remain away from someone's special day. It is the one day that I can be selfish. Heh.

Oh well. What matters is that it ended on a high note with a fabulous meal out of the house. Dinners out are great treats, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate.
