My smartphone died.

Well, it has been dying repeatedly for awhile now. When I threaten to replace it, magically it revives. But no more!

Today I get a new phone. (And it is geekily good, believe me.) In preparation for the official burial of my soon-to-be-retired brain, I transferred all my cameraphone photos to my computer. The below picture was one that made me laugh. I hadn't remembered it, but it is perfectly representative of our vacations - pure fun, but pure exhaustion.

I definitely long to just chill out in the sand right now, but cannot thanks to the crazy chaos of autumn. Happily, the temperature is still inviting, but the ability to get away from it all is just about nil right now. But I can dream!
